Mask Murder

New York City, 2020. COVID-19 is ravaging the Big Apple, the City is locked down and most citizens are following the advice of public health officials to wear protective masks. On Manhattan's West Side, a madman is on a killing spree, targeting women wearing masks. The first victim's family hires crafty private investigator Jack Hickok to find their daughter's murderer. Detective Lucy Vargas is the enigmatic homicide detective in charge of the NYPD's investigation. Teaming up, they are soon on the hunt for a deranged lone wolf right-wing extremist killer. Their investigation pulls them deep into the world of violent extremists, neo-Nazis, militias and white supremacists who want to overthrow what they believe is a tyrannical government taking away their freedoms and livelihoods.
