Maryelle

Joining her husband, Kingston, who has returned to his family's farm in Canada following the Great War, Maryelle faces the trials of her new life. Two years and many miles have separated the couple, who were married just before the war. Now, all Maryelle wants is to live with her husband in their own home. But Kingston loves the farm, and Maryelle loves Kingston.

The family is less than welcoming to the British bride, and Maryelle longs for an escape, where she can be alone with her husband. Only when the family secrets begin to surface does he consider leaving, but in those secrets is a truth that forces him to stay.
