Marked by Moonlight

The wolf shifters are cursed with a broken mating bond. For years, no one has felt the bond that has helped us find our mates for centuries. And now we're left mateless. Without the bond, we are slowly dying off. Our packs are growing smaller, weaker. Our powers are slowly diminishing. And it's my pack's fault. We caused the curse. But I'll be the one to break it. There's a prophecy-one that I know is about me. I'm destined to break the curse, to fix what my pack caused. Every month, the wolves gather to try to find their mates through an offering. Females from each pack are offered to the alphas in hopes that a mate is found and the curse is broken. If an alpha feels the tug of the mating bond, then they mark her as their mate. But if you are marked by an alpha who isn't your true mate...you die.
