Man from Montana

"You're my woman, Avon, I'll be coming to claim you.' To motherless Avon Meredith, fresh from England and traveling West to live with her uncle and aunt in the wild state of Montana in the 1880's, helping fellow passenger Ken Grant to escape possibly unjust punishment is no more than she would have done for anyone in trouble. Not realizing the repercussions of that encounter, she sound settles to her new life on her uncle's farm. But she cannot forget the man she met so fleetingly -- a man she discovers is branded as a killer and is now a fugitive hiding deep in the lonely hills, determined to prove his innocence.
