Second novel in the Scottish crime series Chasing Shadows but can be read as a stand alone novel. After a spate of murders, DI Mike Watson once again finds himself as lead detective. His friend and colleague DS George Wilson, becomes the victim of a vicious assault and is badly injured and in a coma. When his wife returns from visiting him in hospital, she finds an intruder in her home and then begins a dramatic fight for life. How will it end?
