Major Incident

"Whiskey Niner", the experimental Royal Air Force jet, was flying in the clear September sky above the historic town of Fossford. Aboard the aircraft were three young men, a dedicated and highly trained team in a valuable machine. In Fossford, it was the latter end of the lunch-hour - people were returning to work, shopping, visiting the hairdresser's or the dentist's. In Fossford Central College of education, the new students were awaiting the afternoon's lectures. As "Whiskey Niner" flew over the city, the engines failed...
