Maia and the Secrets of Zagran

Secrets always find their way out.
Thirteen year old Maia thinks she has seen it all.

She has survived a soul-extraction attempt, she has been threatened with termination by the chancellor, and she has faced off with saboteurs trying to bring down her nation. She lets nothing get to her anymore-not even the memories of her dead mother's terrifying communique.

All Maia wants is for the Alliance Initiative to resume. She longs to visit the undersea civilization of the Jjord, to ride the underwater transport lines, and to learn about the Jjordic energy farms. Most of all-she wants to goof off with her friends.

But, around the charming city of Zagran, evil is gathering. Maia does not know it yet, the countdown to her planned extinction has already begun.
