Magrat's Dagger

Babet, a witch, never expected to become cozy with Prosper, a detective and a Were. But Prosper's at her bungalow more and more, so it's no surprise when he shows up on her doorstep one morning. What is a surprise is a box, inscribed with magic, that he's carried from a fire--the only thing that survived the blaze. He knows it's bespelled, and he knows it's important.
