The Holloway ranch was cattle land. Always had been. Always would be. And nobody was going to tell Maggie Holloway any different - least of all Sloan Prescott. If he thought he could mosey in and let his sheep graze all over her property, then he could just take his mangy animals and so-called right of way contract and go back home where he belonged!

Sloan had more on his mind than grazing rights. Memories of Maggie in his arms still kept him awake at night, and he aimed to do something about that. He meant to keep his sheep on Maggie's land, all right, and he meant to keep his boots under her bed - for good.
