About This Book

A collection of haunting tales and poetic imagery never before seen by the public until now. These tales and poems convey imagery as desolate as graveyards and asylums. These tales are diverse and include a wide range of nods to American folklore ("The Sandman"), cosmic horror ("The Sinner and the Believer"), and to simple tales of the noir in the 1950s ("Texting A Stranger"). Taking direct influence from the great writers of horror, not limited to Poe and Lovecraft, these tales are inspired by and largely unoriginal on the ideas within each story or poem. Most come from personal experiences and some come from the labyrinth known to man as the "subconscious." While highly debatable, these stories all feature an attempt to sway the readers and the public into the Macabre known to all Gothic lovers as it once did in the nineteenth-century.
