Lying Under the Stars

Christopher Koski's dad has filed a custody suit. Should he win, Chris will live at his grandparents' house, in the woods, with raccoons, skunks, a100 year-old toilet seat and no cable. Roger Koski, his dad, thinks Chris's mom is a bad role model for their son. To escape the pressure at home, Chris bikes to Granite Cove Beach at night. There he lies in the tall beach grass and spies on Mrs. Kirby, a beautiful older woman he spotted at Save 'n Rave Market, where he works after school. Chris wants to save Mrs. Kirby and that one day they will be together. In the meantime, his life is about to come crashing down around him . . .
