Lucky Roby 42

Mickey Blake loses everything when his father is no longer able to work. He packs his wrestling gear into a box and the family moves across the state to the town of Roby, Texas, where just a few years earlier, the residents pooled their money and bought a lottery ticket. 42 people split the pot, and the travails that followed: broken marriages, fallow fields, sudden deaths and illnesses. The best Mickey can do is stick it out until he earns a scholarship to wrestle. But he meets Deon, a brilliant kid with muscular dystrophy and a time-bomb for a heart. Together, the two build robots together for a school assignment, and a shot at redemption.
