About This Book

This book will delight both children and adults alike. It is about a bear and his friend a turtle that encounter a challenge, and with a little encouragement they over come their challenge. For anyone looking to give a child a boost with the hard things in life like learning to zip up a jacket or tie a shoe lace for the first time, this is the book for you!

When Lucas (the bear) suggests the two friends go climb a tree, little did he know that his friend Matthew does not know how to climb trees. But the adventure becomes a life long lesson for both, as both Lucas and Matthew realize it is okay to ask for help, and Lucas teaches Matthew that quitting is not an option. Come along on the journey as the two friends aim for the top.

This wonderful childrens book is written buy Lucy Ueda who bases the story of a life lesson she never thought would sink in so quickly into her own two children. A military wife, Lucy is currently trying to finish school in New York City, while raising her kids along with her Mom. She would like to say thanks for all the effort her Mom has poured into her and the kids to make this book a success as well as every other life adventure. Lucys Husband is currently in the military stationed over seas. God willing, he will be home for the holidays. Along this train of thought, Lucy would like to thank all military members for all they do and all military families (especially those that are separated) for all the support the give; because with out families, it would just be that much harder.
