Tomás Herrera experienced one tragedy after another in his life. First he lost his parents and landed in foster care. Then his marriage to his childhood sweetheart, Becca, ended when she miscarried. His second wife kidnapped their toddler daughter, Lea. His daughter was four when he learned his second wife had died, and he could finally bring Lea home.Now Tomás runs a program that teaches life and job skills to aged-out foster youth.
