Newspaper writer Maggie O'Shea had always dreamed of writing a thrilling Western novel and when she saw the clipping about famous gunslinger Ethan King, she knew she'd found the perfect inspiration for her book. Yet when she arrived in Gila City Arizona, she didn't meet the boasting hired gun she expected but a man haunted by his past and destined to haunt Maggie's heart. Ethan had no respect for the press after all they had ruined his father's life with their overblown accounts, just as they had destroyed his own. Now Ethan was looking for revenge and he certainly didn't need feisty Maggie standing in his way.
