Max Menetti is back! Along with his close friend and associate, Huey BiHausen, Max is assigned a protection detail. From D.C. to Oregon and several stops in between, Max comes face to face with a woman who could change his life, and an assignment that could end it. With Huey's help and comic relief, Max must find a way to keep his assignment, Elise Madison, alive and out of his heart. Finding the latter harder than he'd thought it would be, Max is thrown into the world of a man who would have them all dead, especially Elise.
