May Lassiter was leaving her tomboyish ways behind. She still loved horses, but she was a young lady now, and young ladies were interested in young men. And where better for a young, lady to find charming and eligible gentleman than during a Grand Tour of the continent. May and her friend, Lady Isolde Warford, planned to flirt their wav through Europe, leaving a trail of broken hearts.

Unfortunately, May hadn't expected to make the trip in an unorthodox and unladylike fashion. Nor did she think Isolde's irate brother -- who chased her from country to country -- would ruin every courtship. Vernon was no gentleman. And, as May was to discover, she was no lady.
