When Ivy Darling's third husband decamps with a bimbo, moving in with her long-widowed friend Flo Hunnicutt seems like a perfect plan. Ivy and Flo have been helping each other out of jams since high school even though they're as different as calico and silk: Ivy has entertained the President at dinner in her palatial Houston home; Flo lives in bluejeans, and defines "entertaining" as backyard barbecue.

Until Ivy decides it's time for both of them to get back into the dating swing.
