Van Zandt, a tall, handsome, 29 year old sergeant in Iraq, hopes to marry an attractive girl. Finding a marriageable girl improves when he's recalled to the states. A rich stunning beauty picks him up in a bar and takes him home. They make love and she says she'll marry him. But, he's sent back to Iraq. A mine explosion puts him in a sanitarium with amnesia.
