Love & Other Complications

I've been in love with my older brother's best friend since I was a pre-teen. He's off-limits, forbidden, and sees me as nothing more than an annoying kid sister. For years, I've pined after him, wishing he'd notice me.And then he does.But now I'm not sure if his feelings are genuine or if the years of pent up emotion are making me see more into this than there really is, and I'm nothing more than a convenient—and very willing—rebound, distracting him from the pains of his past.
