Love on Trial

Love in the 1990s is never easy; at twenty-seven, Kate Wynne has already decided to throw in the towel. Orphaned at eleven, Kate has had to work hard all her life to achieve success, and few men have understood the long hours she has to put in at the law firm of Lowry-Lytton. She thought Ken Hamilton might be different, but in the end even her fellow attorney felt threatened by her career.

Her heart broken one too many times, Kate looks forward to spending some quiet time with her sister, Liz, in rural Groveton, New Jersey. Liz, unfortunately, has other ideas. In less than two weeks, the vivacious twenty-year old has managed to root out all of Groveton's most eligible bachelors, and she has picked one out especially for Kate. Nothing less than trickery will get Kate to meet Brian Davis, and when she realizes she's been set up, she is furious. But Liz can tell- her sister is in love. Poor Brian is in for the trial of his life. He may already have won Kate's heart. . . hut how will he ever get her to confess it?
