Daytime drama writer Morgan Tyler figures she has one thing in common with the characters she routinely imperils: "I don't know what is going to happen next in my life, either..."

Morgan's been promoted to co-executive producer of Love of My Life, and her new job makes her responsible for...everything. That includes hostile studio execs, suspicious packages, and Cybelle Carter, a leading lady who's terrified that her estranged husband wants her dead. When another actress on the show is found murdered, it looks like the killer narrowly missed his intended mark.

And to top it off, after a long dry spell Morgan is now being pursued by two promising men. So why is it that when Cybelle's husband looms into the picture, she can't tell if he's dangerous--or just dangerously sexy'? She better find out before someone else is written out of the picture...
