Lost and Found Colony

Join fourteen-year-old Jinx, her faithful Jack Russell Terrier, Petey, and her newly acquired summer friend, Max, as they scramble for clues to solve a four-hundred-year-old mystery! While vacationing on Roanoke Island, North Carolina with her mother, Jinx must write a research paper to pass her "boring old history" class. She soon becomes intrigued by the mystery of the Lost Colony from England as she meets fascinating and sometimes frightening people from the past. Amidst the struggles of figuring out what they want of her, and what could have happened to the Lost Colony, she learns a new respect for the dauntless pioneers of our past. She and her fearless sidekicks also manage to solve a four hundred year old mystery in the process.
