Food along with everything else had lost its savor for Lord Julian Endicott. And unless lovely and impoverished Jeannette Saincoeur could find a way to please his palate, she would lose her position as cook and return to the life of want and wandering.

It would take all of Jeannette's extraordinary culinary skills to tempt the taste buds of this handsome, world-weary lord.
