Brandi Delaney has returned to Arkansas to run her parents' bed-and-breakfast while they take a mission trip. The bridge Brandi crosses one stormy night represents her unknown future. What awaits her on the other side could change the course of her life.

Professional baseball star Jake McFadden, recuperating from a shoulder injury, has two goals in mind: return to his team and motivate teens to stop using drugs and alcohol. He doesn't want any distractions - but when Brandi is stranded in the rushing stream of a low-lying bridge, he knows he has to rescue her.

With God's help, Jake reaches out to Brandi. What will his act of mercy mean to each one?
