These infamous outlaws rode a hideous trail of butchery and vandalism from Texas to Montana, killing every man, woman, and child unlucky enough to cross their path. Any lawman worth his salt scoffed at the second-hand saloon stories giving the phantom bandits credit for every unsolved crime west of the Mississippi.
