Longarm and the Tall Timber

Still, one logging magnate is willing to take the risk—for the chance to make some green by running out all the other lumber companies. Even if it requires a little intimidation and coercion—or murder…
 
But the greedy snake doesn't realize there's a new arrival in Pitchfork—a stranger who goes by Long, who claims he's been a feller, a bucker, a peeler, a bull whacker, and a river pig. What he doesn't mention, however, is that he's on assignment as a Deputy U.S. Marshal. And the monopolizin' sort don't cotton much to the law. So Longarm'd better watch his step—or knock on wood…
