Longarm and the James County War

THE DAM COULD BURST AT ANY MOMENT!

Telegraph lines are cut, and there's no way to call for help, when Federal Marshal Long is faced with a range war. With the aid of a local sheriff who is accused of murder, Longarm tries to reach the Jinglebob dam before angry ranchers blow it up and flood the dry riverbed in which the lawmen are riding.

This assignment has Longarm in a quandary. Five lives have already been lost, one ranch house has been burned, and several farmers brutally beaten, all in a desperate struggle for precious land. And the beautiful widow who seduced the marshal at the hotel in Harmony has turned out to be a bold and ruthless schemer.
