LLAMA WILDERNESS TREKKING--Come and Visit, You Hear?

"There are only two rules," Gary the llama guide told us. "Number one...Never let a llama get loose. Number two...A loose llama on a rope is easier to catch than a loose llama without a rope."

That sounded simple to me.

Mom laughed, or perhaps she choked. "Surely the llamas never get away?"

"Oh, it's happened, Ma'am," Gary replied.

That gave me a twisty feeling in my stomach. I get those funny feelings sometimes, and I never know quite what they mean...until later.
