      About This Book

      "Living in the Desert" is a collection of short stories about living in the high-deserts of California, Utah, and Nevada. There are stories of wildfires, and desert rescues, including a cougar attack. Also in keeping with Nevada stories, there is at least one alien encounter. The author grew up in the high desert of Utah, where T.V.'s were uncommon because the mountains got in the way and every one had a favorite story.
