Brian Stevenson isn't too happy right now. He's new in town. He doesn't have any friends. Kiersten Deveaux, the smartest and the prettiest girl in school, doesn't even know he's alive. And now he's managed to get himself on the wrong side of Ronnie Coleman, the meanest guy in school. Then he meets Maurice, a monster who lives under his bed.
