Linnie Lou and Stevie

There was a time when life was simple and carefree for Linnie Lou, although there were some tough lessons to learn along the way when she got careless or thought she knew it all. Her world was full of cousins, good neighbors, church friends, roller skates, and lightning bugs on the good days. When the bad days came, those same things and people were still there to help her understand the world in a whole new way. Like the case with most other children, Linnie's attitude got her into trouble with others sometimes. She could get by with her antics with almost everyone, except her cousin Katie, her father, and Stevie. She had a serious life-threatening illness at a young age but found it only created a new way of looking at things and cause for exciting stories to tell.
