Lindsey's Dilemma

Lindsey Bennett was the shy one in her family. When she bought a little restaurant in Elizabethtown Kentucky, her family rallied around her to help. But her once-strong family has been battered by the events of September 11, 2001 and even years later everyone is still struggling to cope. So when her trusted cook is forced to leave, Lindsey must find a replacement. She hires party-boy chef Brandon Pendleton who quickly turns on the charm. But then Lindsey's mother breaks her ankle and Lindsey is forced to leave the restaurant in his hands, Brandon starts changing things to suit himself. While Lindsey's home she meets her father's hired helper and former soldier Tag McTaggart who quickly becomes a friend and confidant. Tag and Lindsey's father have more in common than just gardening, both suffer mentally and physically from their years in the Army. While Lindsey struggles with her mother's failing health, her widowed sister is unable to cope with the restaurant. Money goes missing and a customer finds a bug in his food. Lindsey must return and take back control. But being a business owner means confronting employees and putting her foot down, something Lindsey must learn to do. Lindsey must regain control of her restaurant, before it gets shut down. How can she make her employees respect her when her own family doesn't?
