About This Book

Follow the money

An old and over used cliché, but as true as ever. Limit Up has the big three,
love, money and violence.

Limit Up, possibly a new genre as an economic thriller asks a simple question, “What if?”

On the face of it, the President of the United States decides to artificially prop up the US stock market, along with our Anglo-Saxon friends. The Director of Central Intelligence decides to force the European markets lower, forcing an economic gap.

The Chairman of the Federal Reserve, at first unknown to the President and DCI, turns out to be crook and is selling classified information to hedge fund in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Three professional traders in Chicago are hired by he CIA to run this covert operation by manipulating the futures market with huge amounts of money.

The operation is found out on several fronts by various antagonists through counter-espionage, despite their attempt to keep it quite and consequences follow.

On a more deeper and emotional level and rich in symbolism, Limit Up explores and in fact celebrates the equal partnership and respect between men and women.

Limit Up is a story about the best of intentions, despite how misguided they may be, false assumptions and the unintended consequences that follow. It is a story that sends the message that loyalty is a good trait and that betrayal is not, that generosity should not be denied and in final analysis that money will not fill an empty heart.
