Here I am with my three older sisters. My three brilliant, beautiful, perfect sisters. They've always known who they were. Rose has her music. Daisy was a born athlete. Laurel loves animals.

I always thought that by the year I turned sixteen, I would have discovered something that made me special, too. But what do I have? Weird clothes? Bad handwriting? Somehow, these things don't seem to measure up.

But lately I've discovered how to make people -- even the guy of my dreams -- pay attention to me. All I have to do is pretend to be someone I'm not. . . .
