A freak lightning storm has rolled in off San Diego’s Point Loma while dark and ominous clouds hover over Palomar Mountain. Hell is coming, and no one suspects a thing.

A ragged police detective tries to pull his life together while around him idiocy and insanity reign. It’s just another day at the Gaines Street Station, no one could care less.

All that changes when a group of senior citizens out for an afternoon of music in the park are fried to a crisp. Sanders McGee and his partner Donny are dispatched on the case, and what they discover will disturb you, and leave you asking…how can anyone, anywhere, ever really feel safe again?
