Lightning Strikes!

WOW! Zoe Richards, 6th grade superhero, here, and this is officially the best week of my life! My social studies teacher told us to choose an adult we admire and shadow that person at his or her job for a week. I was kind of bummed because I know tons about my dad's job as a detective, and I practically work at my grandpa's dry-cleaning store already, you know? But then this amazing thing happened: Electra Allbright, who writes my favorite comic book series, Lightning Girl, said I could shadow her for my assignment! I could not be more excited!

The only teensy little problem is . I have to be really careful not to let on about my Superness. So if something comes up while I'm with Electra, things could get a little weird. And who knows why, but Grandpa doesn't seem too psyched about this whole arrangement. Maybe he's jealous? Oh, well—I just know this is going to be a blast, and once he gets to know Electra, he'll realize that she's about the coolest person on earth. Wish me luck!
