Let Me Tell You A Story

This book is for the busy reader who doesn't have time to read a lengthy novel. Each of the stories, which have ironic plot twists and surprise endings, stands alone; thus, the order in which the stories are read is unimportant. Looking far older than his 44 years, the slightly stooped, balding man glanced at his watch for the third time. He nervously adjusted his ratty tie and brushed the doughnut crumbs from his crumpled suit. The clank of a heavy steel door and the shuffle of a chained prisoner following a stoic guard caught Marvin's attention. He peered through the Plexiglas window separating his room from the stark chamber of his client. The bullet-headed guard locked the chain to a heavy metal seat and grumbled, "Sit down, Johnson; you've got 10 minutes."
