Lucy had always been fascinated by Egypt. She had taken her degree in Egyptology and was qualified as an art historian and professor, but she preferred working in the field. When given the chance to front a series for television on location, she jumped at it. Now she wondered if she'd made a mistake. Jonathan Naseby, the producer-director of the series, had already evinced an all-too-obvious interest in her. She had been badly burned once and had no desire to enter into another relationship. Yet there was something about Jonathan that drew her to him as surely as she had been drawn to this vast and ancient land.
