Legend in Buckskin

Lacey Monroe and Jake Jacobson were not childhood sweethearts. They couldn't be in the same room with each other for more than two seconds before they were squabbling over one thing or another. They're separated as teenagers, and then as adults they're thrown together again in a situation where each has to have the other's back.

When Lacey returns to her childhood home to deal with a romance on the skids, she finds Jake already in residence, recuperating from ... well, what exactly is he recuperating from? The sparks start flying again, but they discover that something is just a little bit different now as they must join forces to combat a new element that has come to Elktown. Vandalism quickly escalates into violence, danger, and downright menace.
