Learning Her Lines

Catherine Ross enjoys working in her uncle's restaurant, but she's always wanted something more - to find true love and be blissfully happy. Even though there are many single men in Creede, she has yet to find the one for her, and she wonders if perhaps she's meant to be alone.

Melvin Westcott, owner of the Creede Theater, has been handed two helpings of bad news - not only has his director just quit, but the leading lady went along for the ride. Now Melvin must find a new director and a new star or he'll be forced to cancel the production. He needs help, but he doesn't want it in the form of a meddling older woman who calls herself an angel to excuse the fact that she keeps breaking into his office.

In the middle of a rough-and-tumble mining town, a touch of culture is a welcome thing, and the show must go on. But if Melvin can't see past his pride and accept the answers he's being given, will he have to give up on his dream?
