Adjustment was Sara's first, autobiographical play, and although she was happy it was going to be performed on Broadway, she couldn't accept actor Lee Cameron's unabashedly sensual interpretation of the sensitive leading role.

After all, she'd written the play, and she better than anyone knew the true story on which it was based. Or did she? Could there be more to that long-ago experience than she had possibly imagined?

And what right had Lee Cameron to expose her this way, and lay bare her hidden fears and desires?
