Laura and the Secret Magist

When a trip to a local Stately Home, Ravenscroft Hall, is first mentioned, nine-year old Laura is not happy. The picture on the leaflet looks creepy, and the owner's face looks even creepier! But once there a whole exciting adventure opens up as she meets a mysterious girl who tells her that people at Ravenscroft Hall are not to be trusted.

Soon she is trying to uncover the mystery of the 'Secret Magist' and the power it seems to hold over people. People like the evil Rafe Uggle-Sleem and his nasty sidekick, Buttercrawl. They both have a strange plan that they're hatching and they don't want anyone to know.

It all leads up to a thrilling climax as the truth emerges about why Uggle-Sleem is really trying to get so many children to his strange mansion...
