About This Book

Poor Porcupine is tired of being different. If he didn’t look so funny maybe the other animals in the forest wouldn’t make fun of him all the time. Porcupine meets a wise old elephant who points out some of the other animals in the forest who also have some things about themselves that they are teased about. He teaches Porcupine the importance of the animals’ characteristics and that they are necessary for them to adapt to their surroundings. This story takes a funny approach on teaching children about adaptation of animals and also teaches them the importance of not making fun of others.
