Casanova. The name is infamous. Synonymous with lover, woman as object, woman adored, user and misogynist. Casanova’s reputation precedes him, but reputations can be deceiving. In a surreal twist, 18th Century Casanova finds himself living in the United States with hope of achieving the impossible: true love. He maneuvers through the 21st Century with both uncertainty and expertise. Why did he escape Europe? For the first time in his life, he is confronted with sexual and emotional realities not anchored in mind games, but flitting about his heart. He severs from his European past and pivots toward new American experiences which change him. He is not the classic womanizer of old. Or is he? As he seeks true love, a lost Casanova must battle the specter of Time and its agents. This seducer of women must discover the secrets that unveil the mysteries of love.
