Marlene Covington is the devout wife of a preacher who's been locked up for a crime that may have been committed by their troubled twenty-one-year-old son. Keisha Reed is an L.A. mom struggling to make ends meet, while the faithless father of her two kids serves his prison time. Rosalinda Morales works two jobs to support her ailing mother and pay legal fees for her career-criminal lover. Alexis DuBoise has come a long way from a New Orleans ghetto to the posh Bel Air home she shares with her husband--until he goes to jail for embezzlement.
