Known Strangers

Diama, Micel and Nithan set out on their quest to discover the whereabouts of Nithan's missing wife who disappeared from her home some months previously. On their way they stumble across a lynch mob and they rescue an extraordinary individual who has an incredible story to tell - a story so unbelievable that they think he's crazy. The stranger insists that Diama and Micel are his best friends from another time and place. Is he delusional or is he really a time traveller? Leaving that question unanswered, Diama hatches a plan to rescue Catherine, Nithan's wife, from a brothel where she's being held captive, but the plan doesn't quite work out because they soon find a vengeful group of desperadoes on their trail. The final battle on a cliff top is dramatic, with Diama fated to experience the worst of all possible tragedies.
