Kings, Queens and Pawns

As mysterious as the accident which caused her injuries, a woman is admitted to the hospital with no memory of who she is or where she has come from. After discovering her blood holds a disease, only referenced in an old medical journal, the attending physician finds the key to long life and an end to illness as we know it. Now her life becomes a tug-of-war between the doctors who have sworn to help her and a group of people bent on protecting the ancient secret that flows through her veins. In the crossfire, the innocent become the pawns in a war over an illness whose mythology has captured the imagination of a millenium.
