Born into a doomsday cult, the five girls nicknamed the Axiom Five are freed by the government in a raid that kills everyone else (or so they thought), only to find themselves in foster care tossed about in the system that claims to care about them. As they come of age and try to make lives for themselves, one of them will fall in an act of violence by a madman long thought dead. Now the survivors must stay alive by remaining one step ahead of the only father they ever knew, now intent on putting them all in the ground for turning against him. When the police can't turn up any leads and escalates to her assistant being assaulted and killed one night, her husband (Michael Resnik) files for divorce and tries to take her small children (Baylee 3 months) from her in the custody filing. Making her pay child support and the like when she ends up at the bar spilling her guts to Atara. From there, things get a bit – odd?
