About This Book

For the introduction of the keepers of the nest, the fact must be pointed out this is not a story about actual birds. Although, for inquiring minds, there may be some mention of the birds and bees. The keepers are the mothers and fathers of this world, with the nest their homes. Like adult birds watching over the little ones, keepers lead busy and sometimes very demanding lives. The adventures of a keeper can be interesting with the everyday challenges, variety of activities, bizarre scenarios, funny comments, confusing questions, among other outlandish things. Throughout everything a keeper encounters, he must stay on his toes and very weary feet. Children do bring joy to life, even though as a parent it is not always recognized. Keepers involve anyone from the youth to the elderly. This book ride travels through the journey of parenthood. It is meant to take a humorous look at the ups and downs of being a parent, while touching on some of my experiences and perceptions. I do thank God for creating the great keepers of my childhood world, and arming them with a load of patience and understanding.
